Shawn Francis and Augusta Funk, two of the BEST CNA's I have had the pleasure to work with are officially done from work.

Teresa, Chris, and I decided to take some items to enter in the Open Class Division of the Boone County Fair this year.

Teresa took two afghans, a hat, a doily, and a bear (not pitctured). She received blue ribbons on all her items. Way to go!

Chris took two photographs. One was a flower with a bug on it. The other was his friends running track. He got blues for both of these photos. Awesome!

I took two photographs also. One was of the fire burning in our firepit one night ("Life of Fire". The other was of the interior of a barn on the old Boone County Farm ("Enigma of a Barn"). I recieved a blue ribbon on both of these, plus a purple on the Barn photo. So cool!

 

Congrats to Teresa and Chris!

We met the Greco and Prokop Families and other people at the Boone Family Medicine parking lot to watch the fireworks display. They grilled hot dogs and hamburgers and had all sorts of good stuff to eat and drink.

Someone had taken a trip over the Iowa border and go all kinds of fireworks for us to enjoy before the show.
