    Friends

"Friends are quiet angels who lift us to our feet
when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly."

That is a great quote that I came across today. Friends. What would anyone do without friends? Friends come and go in our lives, and some are constants. I am forever greatful to all my friends during this, such a hard time in life with my Mother's illness and the passing away of my sister-in-law and nephew.

I'd like to thank friends Tina and Scott Badkar, Mike and Jennifer Herrick, James and Brenda Allbee, Erick and Jill Johnson for cards and moral support.

I'd like to thank all my co-workers at Northcrest for the card, hugs and shedding tears with me. Especially to Natoya and Lauren for working my shifts for me, and Vicky for the theraputic counceling sessions. You all reinforced the terrificness of working with such great people! You are all GREAT!

Just a big, heart felt thank you to everyone!

    Seven Wonders of the World?

A group of students were asked to list what they thought were the present
     "Seven Wonders of the World
.." Here is what the majority of students put down:
    1. Egypt's Great Pyramids
    2. Taj Mahal
    3. Grand Canyon
    4. Panama Canal
    5. Empire State Building
    6. St. Peter's Basilica
    7. China's Great Wall

These are all great and dandy, but within that group of students one had a list that I think is a much better list:

    1.) To See
    2.) To Hear
    3.) To Touch
    4.)To Taste
    5.) To Feel
    6.) To Laugh
    7.) To Love

The things we overlook as simple and ordinary and that
we take for granted  are truly wondrous!

    A gentle reminder --

that the most precious things in life
cannot be built by hand or bought by man.
